Lifetime is reportedly producing two new projects that will center around R. Kelly’s current sexual misconduct scandal.

According to Hollywood Reporter, the network has ordered a new documentary series that will detail the stories of women who have been snared into R. Kelly’s alleged “sex cult.” Many of the details will come from Buzzfeed’s 2017 investigative report from music journalist Jim DeRogatis.

The TV movie will also explore the same subject matter, with survivors coming forward with new allegations of sexual, mental and physical abuse by the veteran R&B singer. Both projects are part of Lifetime’s Stop Violence Against Women campaign, which helps raise awareness of abusive behaviors.

Cultural critic, music journalist, and filmmaker dream hampton will executive produce the series, while Emmy Award winner Ilene Kahn Power (Gia, Who Killed Clark Rockefeller) will serve as an executive producer on the TV movie. Barbara Marshall will pen the film script.

“Some very brave black women have trusted us with their stories, their truth, and their trauma,” said hampton about her docu-series. “They are survivors and I’m honored to share their stories with the world.”

Lifetime has yet to release the air dates for these projects.

Meanwhile, TMZ has posted a video of R. Kelly and Jocelyn Savage shopping together at a mall in Chicago last month. Savage is one of the women whose parents have claimed to be "brainwashed" by Kelly, and a part of his alleged sex cult. Savage has refuted her parents claims and says she's in a happy place in her life.

In the TMZ video, the couple(?) appears to be enjoying themselves while checking out items in Nordstrom. At one point, you can see Savage giving Kelly a neck massage as they walk around the mall.
