Police are investigating a double shooting that happened in Buffalo on Labor Day.

The shooting happened on Monday, September 8, 2020. According to WKBW, the incident occurred in the 100 block of Timon Street just after 4 pm.  There were two victims who were shot.  Both were taken to Erie County Medical Center. The shooting on Timon street was one of several that happened since the beginning of September. On Saturday, September 5, just after 2 am, a man was shot multiple times near Bailey Avenue and Alma Avenue, according to WGRZ. The victim was a 27-year-old man, who was taken to ECMC, where he was listed in stable condition.

On Thursday, September 3, a man was shot on Kilhoffer Street, near Ferry Street. According to WGRZ, the male victim was shot around 2:45 am and was transported to ECMC. Another person may have been grazed by a bullet.

September kicked off with three people being shot near East Delavan Avenue and Grider Street. According to WGRZ, the incident happened just after 12 am on Tuesday, September 1.  A 30-year-old man died.
