Oprah Winfrey Donates $500,000 To March Against Gun Violence

A lot of Stars have been in a giving mood this past 2 weeks Rappers, Singers And Now Oprah!

Oprah Winfrey donates a whomping  $500,000 to March For Our Lives! The rally which is organized by the students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

This rally is scheduled to take place next month and its for the cause to protest gun violence and increase school safety measures. With everything happening in florida right now, this is the type of energy it needs to recoup and recover.

Oprah spoke out that she would match a donation made by George and Amal Clooney on her personal Twitter.

She Said:

“George and Amal, I couldn’t agree with you more. I am joining forces with you and will match your $500,000 donation to March For Our Lives,” she wrote. “These inspiring young people remind me of the Freedom Riders of the 60s who also said we’ve had ENOUGH and our voices will be heard.”
Director Steven Spielberg also donated $500,000 to the cause.
