These Football Players And NFL Teams Donated Damar Hamlin’s Charity
The outpouring of support for Damar Hamlin is quite amazing. The Bills Mafia has been showing out with prayers, vigils, displays, and support for #3. What has also been amazing is seeing the rest of the National Football League and players on other teams show so much love for Damar. One way that people have been expressing their care is by donating to his charity.
Damar's GoFundMe page for his 501c3 charity, The Chasing M's Foundation, has raised $7,660,700 thanks to generous people in Western New York and all around the country.
Damar created The Chasing M’s Foundation to use as a vehicle to bring lasting impact to his community. The foundation supports toy drives, back-to-school drives, kids camps, and more. We're hopeful about Damar's future involvement in disbursing the incredibly generous contributions.
Aside from the hard-working Americans who have donated their money, many NFL teams and players have donated as well. What's notable is that many are incorporating an extra $3 in their donations to show love for his jersey number, 3. New Era Cap Foundation donated $10,003.
Some of the NFL players, coaches, and teams include:
William James O'Brien (Former Coach, Houston Texans) - $3,333
Washington Commanders - $5,000
Davante Adams (Las Vegas Raiders) - $5,000
Mike Wagner (Former Player, Pittsburgh Steelers) - $5,000
