One of my absolute favorite things about living in Buffalo and Western New York is the fact that you don't have to look very far for a great, local brewery. Seriously, we have so many awesome breweries in Western New York that it's hard to keep up.

Just this past weekend, my fiancee and I couldn't even decide on which brewery to go to, because they're all so great.

One of the best is New York Beer Project, which has a few locations throughout New York State, but the only Western New York location is up in Lockport off Transit Road. But soon, there will be two locations in Western New York.

According to Buffalo Business First, New York Beer Project will be expanding with two new locations. One in Orlando, Florida, and the other in Orchard Park!

The new southtowns location will be called New York Beer Project OP (Orchard Park) at Sterling Park, just off the 219. The best part? It'll be a mile away from Highmark Stadium...talk about a great location! It's expected to open in 2023.

New York Beer Project is extremely popular up in Lockport, as people from all over Western New York visit that location. Many times, there's a long wait for a table and the bar is packed with people, especially on the weekends. They serve craft beer that brews themselves, along with an extensive food menu.

I was wondering if they would ever expand to a location closer to Buffalo and this will thrill so many people, including myself since I live close to Orchard Park!
