A New Pizza Hut Restaurant Is Opening In The Buffalo Area Today
If you're a fan of Pizza Hut, you'll be happy to know that another location is back in Western New York. A second location is opening today, Tuesday, June 13, 2023.
Pizza Hut opened its first location in Wichita, Kansas in 1958. It was founded by two brothers who borrowed $600 from their mother to open the store. The restaurant got its name "Pizza Hut" because their sign only had room for eight letters.
At Pizza Hut, we don’t just make pizza. We make people happy. Pizza Hut was built on the belief that pizza night should be special, and we carry that belief into everything we do. With more than 60 years of experience under our belts, we understand how to best serve our customers through tried and true service principles: We create food we’re proud to serve and deliver it fast, with a smile.
All of the Pizza Hut locations in the Buffalo area closed due to the pandemic, leaving Pizza Hut lovers in a state of shock. Now, years later, 10 new locations are eventually set to open by the end of the year. The first location to return to the region is located at 3669 Delaware Avenue in Tonawanda. According to WGRZ, there were lines around the store of customers who were happy that the chain is back.
Today, the second location will open at 4225 Genesee Street in Cheektowaga, across from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
This location will be a take-out and quick-serve location. There won't be any seating area and the menu will be limited.
