Mafia Boss Decapitated In Freak Accident
Anthony Conigliaro also known as “Tony Cakes” was killed by decapitation in an accident with a Department of Transportation vehicle in New York City. According to reports, Conigliaro was walking in a crosswalk in Brooklyn when he was struck by the DOT vehicle. His head was decapitated in the accident, which took place on June 12, 2024. The 31-year-old driver of the Ford F550 that struck him has not been arrested, but police say the investigation is ongoing.

In recent years, Conigliaro had changed his life. He operated an Italian ice and gelato stand in Little Italy. He had previously pleaded guilty to a racketeering conspiracy charge and received a 13-month sentence, according to Fox News.
