America’s President Calls For Military To Train In Cities Like Buffalo Or New York
By all accounts and measurable data that's available from States across the nation and the Federal Bureau of Investigation itself, it seems that crime rates around America are falling to near record lows. This trend has been happening for several years and, according to the data, at least, we're living in one of the safest times in American history.
However, if you were to listen to some members of our Federal, State, and local government, you may get the sense that it's in fact anarchy in our cities, towns, and villages around the nation.
To that end, in a speech that President Trump was giving to military leaders in Virginia, the President made a bold statement that caught many people off guard.
We should use some of these dangerous cities as training grounds for our military and the National Guard.
-Donald J. Trump, 47th President of the United States
Joined by United States Department of Defense Pete Hegseth, President Trump spoke at a gathering of senior military officials at Marine Corps Base Quantico, where he called for an end to woke policies and declared that major urban centers in America are very unsafe places that need to be straightened out with the help of the military.
That, of course, doesn't seem to line up with the data that is produced.
According to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, crime in nearly every category is at an all-time low, and the trends continue to point downwards.
It would be a strange sight to see members of the United States Armed Forces patrolling the streets of cities like Buffalo, Rochester, Albany, and New York, but that may be coming to a road near you soon.
However, based on the data, they may just end up working on picking up trash and helping neighbors with household chores like they're currently doing in Washington, D.C.
