Early Voting Kicks Off This Week For Midterm Elections
This weekend is the start of Early Voting in the Empire State for the 2022 Midterm Elections and New Yorkers will have another opportunity to participate in the electoral process.
New York had two separate primary elections earlier this year, on June 28, 2022, and on August 23, 2022, which allowed registered voters who were enrolled in a political party to vote for their candidate for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, State Assembly, various Judges, and various positions within the different political parties.
Now with that all settled, it's time for the general election that will fill many of these political offices.
The 2022 General Midterm Elections are scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, 2022, and early voting kicks off this week to give people the chance to cast their vote early and avoid the potential rush of all voting on the same day.
