10 Big Events Happening This Weekend In Western New York

We’re only a few weeks into the summer, and you probably want to enjoy the weekend and relax a little this weekend while the weather calls for warm Buffalo sunshine. 

For this weekend of July, there are a lot of events planned in Western New York that are sure to keep the summer fun rocking and rolling. If you can’t decide on what to do this weekend, don’t worry; like every week, we have narrowed down the top events for this weekend.

One of the biggest festivals is back in full swing this weekend in Western New York, plus the Grease Pole competition returns, and let’s not forget that Christmas in July is back, too -- all of these fun events are happening this weekend (and more!) in Western New York.

There is so much to choose from on the list, I completely get it, but at the top of my weekend wish list, I have to go with the East Aurora Garden Walk .The weather is expected to be nice and the flowers in full bloom. But really, it’s summer and it’s going to feel like it this weekend! Might as well get as much out of this weekend and do everything you can, whether that is lounging around at your pool or stopping by the Tonawanda Canal Fest.

Some other events happening this weekend include the Subaru Chase through the Elmwood Village, Old Home Days in Williamsville, Burger Fest in Hamburg. Italian Festival is happening on Hertel Avenue in North Buffalo, and the Clydesdale horse are back this weekend, too!

And if you're looking for a country concert this weekend, Thomas Rhett is performing on Friday, July 15 at Darien Lake, and tickets are available still for as low as $32.
