One of the men who participated in the domestic terrorist attack on the United States Capitol building yesterday has apparently lost his job today.

WBAL in Baltimore
posted on his Twitter account this morning an account of an unidentified Maryland man who seemed to have forgotten to take off his work ID badge before breaking into the US Capitol yesterday.

The company, Navistar Direct Marketing of Frederick, MD, released a statement where they announced his termination.

Navistar Direct Marketing was made aware that a man wearing a Navistar company badge was seen inside the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 during the security breach. After review of the photographic evidence the employee in question has been terminated for cause.

While we support all employee’s right to peaceful, lawful exercise of free speech, any employee demonstrating dangerous conduct that endangers the health and safety of others will no longer have an employment opportunity with Navistar Direct Marketing.

With all of the camera that surrounds the United States Capitol, maybe it's not such a great idea to wear your ID on your shirt as you participate in a mob riot against Congress... But, maybe I am just on the wrong side of history with that idea.
