
Buffalo Police Investigating Deadly Fall Of Lancaster Man From Apartments
A worker fell to their death this week at an apartment building in Buffalo. Buffalo Police are investigating the fall, which happened at Delaware Tower Condominiums, which are located at 1088 Delaware Avenue in Buffalo. According to police a 49-year-old Lancaster man who was working on a 7th-story patio fell to his death. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to WGRZ. The fatal fall happened on Monday, March 6, 2023, just before 1 pm.

According to Wikipedia, Vesna Vulović, a Serbian flight, who holds the Guinness world record for surviving the highest fall without a parachute. A briefcase bomb exploded in the baggage compartment of the JAT Flight 367 she was working on. The explosion happened on January 26, 1972, :01 pm. She fell 33,330 feet or 6.31 miles. She was the only survivor of the crash. The 27 other crew members and passengers died. Vulović said she was not actually scheduled to work the flight, but the airline had confused her with another flight attendant named Vesna.
Vulović was in a coma for several days following the crash and remained in the hospital for several months. She sustained serious injuries, including a fractured skull, three broken vertebrae, broken legs, broken ribs, and a fractured pelvis. She was temporarily paralyzed from the waist down, but eventually was able to walk again, with a limp.
