Lil Pump had a run-in with the law on Wednesday night (Feb. 14). According to TMZ, the “Gucci Gang” rapper was arrested after he fired a gun inside his home.

Law enforcement sources tell the website that Pump’s manager called police to report that three men were trying to force open the front door of the rapper’s San Fernando Valley home around 4 p.m., with one of the suspects firing a gun once through the door.

When police arrived, they found a bullet hole in the front door, however, they didn’t see any of the suspects. When cops talked to Lil Pump they didn’t believe his intruder story, plus, he was smoking marijuana.

After a careful look, police soon discovered that the trajectory of the bullet hole came from inside the home. They eventually got a search warrant and found an unloaded gun in the bushes below Pump’s apartment. Cops also found ammo for the gun inside the home.

After gathering the evidence, police subsequently arrested Pump for shooting the gun into the door. The 17-year-old rapper was charged with discharging a weapon in an inhabited place.

Pump’s mom could also face charges. She wasn’t home at the time of the incident, but cops say she could be charged with endangering a minor and having an unsecured gun at the home.

Pump's team insist that intruders were trying to break in the home and that the rapper fired a shot to protect himself. They are planning to look at surveillance footage ASAP to see what really happened.

Attorneys for Lil Pump had no comment on the matter.
