Lawmaker To Propose Bill Allowing Teachers To Carry Guns At School

Should teachers be able to carry while teaching??

I agree we need to protect our our children and if teachers meet the mental and physical capabilities to carry a gun or have a gun safe in the classroom we should do it. But it’s a sad day that, that even needs to be a possibility.

Also I really hope that we don’t see teachers shooting students with all the altercations that happen in classrooms. Which is why I believe, if this does happen the guns are kept in a safe rather than on the teachers themselves. Regardless, this is a sad time and makes me wonder if I even feel safe sending my child to school. Specifically high school.
