Today, October 12th is New York's last day to register to vote in the 2012 Presidential election! Find out if your registration is accepted and what forms of ID are accepted at the polls this year. (Yes you do need ID now!)

Ok Now that we got that order of business handled, let's talk about Election Day.

Voting is from 6AM - 9pm in New York State. Find your polling place here

WHAT TO BRING

If this is your first time voting in a federal election in New York, you may have to present ID before voting on Election Day. Identification may include (but is not limited to):
A current and valid photo ID
A current utility bill, bank statement, paycheck, or other government document that shows your current and complete name and current address.
If you’ve previously voted in a federal election in New York, you don’t need to bring additional ID to the polls.
