Instead of common scents such as pine or cinnamon spice, KFC wants people’s homes to smell like their fried chicken.

That’s right, KFC announced today that it is selling an “11 Herbs & Spices” firelog for the holidays. The log is being sold on their website for just $18.99.

“Made with 100 percent recycled materials, the KFC 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog from Enviro-Log is dramatically less wasteful and significantly more effective at making your home smell like fried chicken than burning the actual fried chicken,” said a statement on the KFC website.

This latest creation is apparently the “result of countless hours of research and development,” according to the popular fried chicken chain.

Each firelog can burn up to about three hours and the log can be stored as it has no shelf life. KFC officials advise the log should be stored in a safe, dry area away from pets, and they jokingly warn that the scent of the log may result in a craving for fried chicken.

They also advise that the log smells great but it’s not edible.

“Please don’t put face directly into fire in attempt to smell fried chicken,” KFC said.

This is the second time in the last two months that KFC has made headlines. The chain also had people talking when they added chicken and waffles to their menu.

“Our famous extra crispy, savory fried chicken atop a Belgian Liege-style waffle, with the finishing touch of classic Mrs. Butterworth’s syrup, makes for a scrumptious dish I’d put up against versions at upscale restaurants, but we’re offering it at a price just about anyone can afford,” said KFC’s U.S. chief marketing officer Andrea Zahumensky in a statement.
