Comedian Kevin Hart Is Bringing His Reality Check Tour To Buffalo

Comedian Kevin Hart is coming to Buffalo. This has been a great summer for comedy as both Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle were both here this past weekend. Buffalo loves to laugh, so it's always nice when we get the big shows coming through the city.

Kevin Hart is not only a comedian, but he is also an actor, radio host, rapper (Chocolate Droppa), producer, 'reality' TV star, and so much more. In 2015, Time Magazine named him as one of the 100 most influential people in the world. But, make no mistake, even though he has experienced immense success, the start of his career was pretty rocky. His first comedy show was at The Laff House in Philadelphia. He performed under the name Lil Kev.

His career suffered a slow start and he was booed offstage several times, once even having a piece of chicken thrown at him. After those initial unsuccessful shows, he began entering comedy competitions throughout Massachusetts, with audience receptions eventually improving.

Kevin has starred in multiple movies including Scary Movie 3, Soul Plane, Little Fockers, Think Like a Man, Ride Along and Ride Along 2, Get Hard, Central Intelligence, the Jumanji film franchise, and Night School. He also started his own streaming network with Lionsgate called Laugh Out Loud Network.
