Kendrick Lamar's "Humble" not only shook up the Internet when it debuted because of its fiery message (literally), it's also the highest Hot 100 debut for a rap song since Eminem's 2010 offering, "Love the Way You Lie" featuring Rihanna.

"Humble" earned 111,000 sales and was streamed 49.8 million times following its debut. The numbers make it his highest-charting single as a solo artist. K. Dot previously hit the top spot with his Taylor Swift collaboration, "Bad Blood." Previously, his highest charting solo single was "Swimming Pools (Drank)" back in 2012, from his major label debut, Good Kid M.A.A.D City. That track peaked at #17.

It's a great start leading into his third major label album, DAMN, for which he just shared the artwork and tracklist. The album drops this Friday (April 14).
