After Kanye West filed a $10 million lawsuit against Saint Pablo tour insurers, Lloyd's of London, earlier this month, the company has now launched a countersuit.

According to TMZ, the suit says that Kanye has yet to provide information needed to assess whether they are obligated to cover the losses from his canceled “Saint Pablo Tour” dates. In Kanye's suit, filed earlier this month, he claims the insurer didn’t provide “anything approaching a coherent explanation about why they have not paid, or any indication if they will ever pay or even make a coverage decision."

In the countersuit, Lloyd’s says that West did something to trigger policy exclusions, referring to substance abuse. It's been implied by the insurers that Kanye's use of marijuana may have triggered his breakdown. Lloyd’s is now asking the judge to decide whether they have to pay Kanye at all.

Lawsuits aside, it's rumored that Kanye is working on new music. Earlier this month, it was speculated that he's been in the studio with Kid Cudi while in Japan.

“They’re going to drop some crazy collaboration out of the blue,” an insider told Page Six. “They’re going to drop some surprise project on everybody. They’re recording it now."

In the meantime, we'll see how the Saint Pablo lawsuit plays out in court.
