Will Josh Allen End Up In The Hall Of Fame

Josh Allen has only been in the NFL for 4 seasons, but one analyst thinks that he is already on his way to Canton.

David Carr played in the NFL for 11 seasons. Drafted by the Houston Texans first overall in the 2002 NFL Draft, he played for Houston, Carolina Panthers, New York Giants, and San Francisco 49ers. He won a Super Bowl Ring as Eli Manning's backup in Super Bowl XLVI. Since 2016, he has been an analyst for the NFL Network.

Now, he has boldly said that Josh Allen is on his way to the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

Carr has been a fan of Allen on the field since he first saw him throw at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis back in 2018.  Carr was the number one pick in the draft and said that when he saw Allen throw, he was in awe of the things he could do on the football field.

When it comes to QBs in the Hall of Fame, fellow Buffalo Bill Jim Kelly is there with a career stat line of  35,467 yards and 237 TDs over his 11 years in Orchard Park. He also of course, famously led the team to four Super Bowl appearances.

If you were to take Allen's numbers over his first four seasons and project them out over an 11-year career, he would end up with 38,813 yards, and 283 touchdowns.  Numbers that are right on par with Kelly's, if not slightly better.  Allen's numbers have been going up every year, so the hall-of-fame speculation isn't too far-fetched.

Now, he just has to work on getting the Bills to a Super Bowl and bringing home the Lombardi Trophy.  Then the Hall of Fame conversation will really begin.
