On Wednesday, the lineup for the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival was announced. Among the films that are set to premiere at the festival, the television projects that will be joining the lineup were also announced.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Jay-Z’s latest series “Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story,” will be among the series to premiere.

The series will offer, a

“definitive look at one of the most talked-about, controversial events of the last decade.”

Following the screening, Trayvon Martin’s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin will speak to the audience. The six-part docuseries is based on their book “Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin.”

 Last year, Jay-Z received praise for bringing the story of Kalief Browder to our television screens in “Time: The Kalief Browder Story,” which first premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.

“Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story,” premieres in July on the Paramount Network.
