Besides managing superstars and saving the planet, Jay-Z is also launching new careers. The hip-hop dad recently introduced radio audiences to his new artist on the Roc Nation label, Rita Ora. The London-born singer debuted her first official single, ‘Party and Bulls—’ on New York’s Z100 radio last week.

The song is not a remake of the late Notorious B.I.G.‘s classic house party jam, but it’s just as anthemic. On the track, Ora sings of partying with a cute guy who makes her heart sing.

“We just came to see some great friends over here at Z100 in my neighborhood and we knew they would like what they heard, because Rita is amazing,” says Hov about his new artist. “This is what radio is all about — feeling, emotion and discovering new music and artists and sharing it with a huge audience.”

Yes, indeed. Ms. Ora is currently working on her debut album with a few notable producers including Drake, Will.i.am and The-Dream.

With Jay-Z backing her up, it shouldn’t be a problem for Ora to become a household name. Just ask fellow Roc Nation rapper and Grammy nominee J. Cole.

Other Roc Nation artists on the roster include pint-size rap dynamo Willow Smith and R&B singer Bridget Kelly.

Roc on, Rita Ora!
