Top Dawg Entertainment Executives Accused of Sexual Misconduct in New Lawsuit
UPDATE (Feb. 5):
The two women accusing Top Dawg Entertainment executives of sexual misconduct have amended their lawsuit and included information to substantiate the claims.
On Wednesday (Feb. 5), XXL obtained the updated suit, which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, which includes alleged text messages between one accuser and Anthony "Moosa" Tiffith and Brandon Tiffith. Several texts show Jane Doe repeatedly asking Moosa to be compensated for her work and receiving indirect responses. In one response to a request for payment, Moosa responds, "I'm broke." In other texts about work, Moosa inappropriately brings up Jane Doe's body on multiple occasions.
Jane Doe has also provided texts that show her confronting Brandon Tiffith after he allegedly tried to sexually assault her.
"You know you were trying to have sex with me and I didn't want to, and we didn't have sex," the text from Jane Doe reads. "I wasn't comfortable with what happened but I wanted to let it go..."
The lawsuit has also been updated with a cause of action for doxxing in response to TDE's attorneys putting out the names of the accusers.
UPDATE (Feb. 1):
Top Dawg Entertainment's legal counsel, Marty Singer, has released the following statement to XXL in response to the new sexual misconduct lawsuit aimed at two executives. XXL has removed the names of the women because they were not named in the lawusuit.
"This is a clear example of a shakedown lawsuit by [the women] who made a demand of $48 million through their attorneys on fabricated claims, and whose attorneys are looking for their ten minutes of fame. There are text messages and communications that totally refute these baseless claims. Additionally, [the women] were never employees of Top Dawg Entertainment. We are confident that we will prevail in this action."

TDE Execs Sued
According to court documents obtained by XXL on Friday (Jan. 31), the lawsuit was filed on Dec. 3, 2024, by two women who are suing anonymously in Los Angeles Superior Court. The suit includes claims of sexual battery, sexual assault, sexual harassment and unpaid wages.
According to the suit, "Plaintiff Jane Doe was hired to perform public relations and marketing services for TDE. During the course of her performance of work for TDE, she was subject to inappropriate workplace behavior, including sexual harassment and assault by officers and executives of the company."
Specifically, Doe details an alleged incident in January of 2021, where Brandon "forcibly removed Ms. Doe’s clothing, and attempted to forcibly engage in sexual intercourse and oral sex without consent."
Doe also claims she suffered from harassment from Anthony, which included "unwelcome romantic overtures, inappropriate comments suggesting she utilized sexual favors for professional gain and the unsolicited sharing of explicit material." In addition, Doe claims Anthony used her home as a location to bring women to cheat on his partner.
The second plaintiff, listed as Jane Roe, is a friend of an artist signed to TDE. She alleges she was "sexually harassed twice by TDE employees, one of whom gave her alcohol (despite her being underage) in an attempt to further sexual advances," while staying at a home owned by TDE.
During one instance in November of 2020, she claims a TDE employee known as "Big Dawg" walked up behind her and rubbed his erect genitalia against her buttocks without consent. In another alleged incident the following January, Roe claims TDE employee David Harrell coerced her into drinking alcohol despite her being underage then tried to force himself on her sexually.
The suit claims that TDE’s leadership knew about these instances of sexual abuse but took no action. TDE Chief Marketing Officer Brandon Tiffith, President Anthony "Moosa" Tiffith, employee David Harrell and 10 more unnamed individuals are listed as defendants in the suit.
The two women are seeking a trial by jury as well as unspecified punitive damages.
In a press release put out on Monday (Jan. 27), the accusers' attorney Shounak S. Dharap of Arns Davis Law offered the following statement about the suit:
"This lawsuit presents a glaring example of the systemic abuse and exploitation in the entertainment industry. Our clients trusted TDE to act with integrity and professionalism. Instead, their trust was betrayed in profoundly damaging ways. They’re bringing this lawsuit because they refuse to be silenced, and because they intend to hold TDE accountable in court.”
