2024 is almost here, but that doesn't mean there isn't some heat left to be dropped in 2023. There is more in store for the December 2023 new music releases.

Nicki Minaj Makes Return With Pink Friday 2 Album

Fans have been waiting for Nicki Minaj's new album for five years. On Dec. 8, the head Barb in charge will return with her fifth album, Pink Friday 2. Originally slated for an October release, Nicki changed the date to November back in June and later pushed the drop date to her birthday.

In the months leading up to the album, Nicki released the single "The Last Time I Saw You" in September and also previewed the track "Big Difference" at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards in October. Other than that, Nicki has been mostly mum on specific details of the release, her first since 2018's Queen.

BigXThaPlug Unleashes New The Biggest EP

BigXThaPlug returned with his second project of 2023 titled The Biggest on Dec. 1. The new 8-track EP comes after the Texas rapper dropped its lead single "Mmmhmm" on Oct. 6. The EP features appearances from Offset, Finesse2Tymes and Ro$ama, and comes after BigXThaPlug dropped off his debut album Amar back in February.

Amar was BigXThaPlug's breakout project and included his viral single "Levels" as well as appearances from Sauce Walka, Tay Money, Erica Banks and Ro$ama.

Gucci Mane and B.G. Join Forces For Choppers & Bricks

Gucci Mane and B.G. have linked up for Choppers & Bricks, B.G.'s first official full-length release since he was freed from prison in September after serving 11 years behind bars. The 13-track project features appearances from C-Murder, Lil Jairmy, and Mike WiLL Made-It.

B.G. has been hard at work on new music since getting out of prison. The new album with Gucci Mane comes after B.G. already linked with Boosie BadAzz for "My Dawg," marking his first official verse since getting out.
