The Bills Mafia has been pretty spoiled over the last few years. Since we've started to trust the process, we've had several years of success at One Bills Drive. It's been pretty nice to have New York's only NFL team put up winning seasons year after year.

Of course, that wasn't the case for many years. As hard as it was on us, the losing years we spent in playoff purgatory helped to build character for the team and our fans. Those were hard years to be a fan of the Bills, but thanks to one quarterback in particular, we were able to break one of the longest playoff droughts in NFL history.

Thanks to Tyrod Taylor, we snapped that 17-year drought.

Taking the Bills to the playoffs for the first time in the 21st century was a major accomplishment that Taylor can put on his stat sheet; unfortunately, 2016 was also the last time he played for the Bills as he was traded to Cleveland for a draft pick.

Since leaving the Bills, Taylor has bounced around the NFL a bit. He played for Cleveland in 2018, the Chargers in 2019 and 2020, Houston in 2021, and the New York Giants in 2022 and 2023.

Now, Taylor is heading back to the AFC East. He's signed a new two-year, $12 million contract with the New York Jets to serve as Aaron Rodgers' backup.

Taylor's signing with the Jets now means that he will have played for all three New York Jersey teams, a feat that only three other NFL players have done in their careers: Marcus Dowtin, Maurice Tyler, and Roscoe Word.
