At the time of this writing, the cheapest ticket for Game 1 of the Buffalo Sabres/Boston Bruins playoff game at KeyBank Center in Buffalo was $499.66 per ticket.

That is A LOT of money, but if you are willing to take a drive along the I-90, you can see your favorite team in the playoffs for a lot less.

Tickets to the Sabres/Bruins game in Boston were selling for around $191 dollars, almost 1/2 off the price in Buffalo. Of course, you have to drive or fly to get to Boston and stay somewhere.

But even if you add up all that, it might still be cheaper to see the Sabres play in person in Boston than in Buffalo.

This will be the 9th time the Sabres and Bruins will play each other in the playoffs. The Sabres are currently 2-6 in those series. The last time they played was back in the 2009-10 season, and Boston knocked the Sabres out of the playoffs that year.
