Buffalo Bandits Hosting NLL Hall Of Fame Ceremony

One of the best times to live in Buffalo and Western New York is fast approaching, and football, hockey, and lacrosse fans from Wilson to West Seneca are getting ready for the Bills, Sabers, and Bandits to hit the field and ice this year.

With the pending arrival of fall in the 716, the folks at the KeyBank Center in downtown Buffalo and the new Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park are hard at work to make sure the facilities are ready to welcome fans. While they're hard at work, the staff in the front offices of our favorite sports teams are also hard at work making sure the teams are ready, just like the players and all the support staff.

Now, before the Bandits take the field at the end of 2026 to start the next season, members of Banditland are all invited to a special event to honor some of the best people who have represented professional indoor box lacrosse.

Bandits Hosting 2026 NLL Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The energy will be electric inside the Bear's Den at Seneca Niagara Casino in Niagara Falls on Saturday, September 19, 2026, as the Bandits host a Hall of Fame Ceremony for 8 men who have had a major impact on the NLL. Their names will be added to an exclusive group of people important to box lacrosse.

The 2026 NLL Hall of Fame Class includes Dan Dawson, Shawn Evans, Sandy Chapman, Mike Accursi, Jake Bergey, Gavin Prout, and Buffalo Bandits Mark Steenhuis & John Gurtler.

If you want to attend the HOF Ceremony, there are limited general admission and VIP tickets available to the public, and you can buy them right here. Fewer than 300 will be sold, so you better act fast if you want to witness lacrosse history in person.

The 2026–27 National Lacrosse League season is set to start this December, so this is a great way to get ready to another exciting season of lacrosse.
