Winter Weather And Snow Returns To New York State

Even though we are kicking off the first full week of Spring here in New York we are not done with the winter weather just yet.

Snow and cold is on tap for much of New York State with some parts of New York under a winter weather advisory this morning.

In Western New York it will be all about the wind today. There is a wind advisory in place for parts of Western New York today between 8 am and 10 pm. The snow will return to the area on Tuesday and Wednesday with up to 3 inches of snow possible in some areas south of Buffalo by the end of Wednesday night.

Downstate and in New York City, there will be rain showers along with below-average temperatures today. The high of 42 is around 10 degrees below the normal average temperature for this time of year.

While it is Spring, you might want to keep those winter gloves and hats out for a little bit longer.
