
Travel Impacted By Winter Storms In New York
Travel around New York could be slower than usual due to winter weather moving across parts of the state.
A major winter storm is moving across the southern part of New York State and will end up dropping several inches of snow across the New York City region which could have a big impact on airline travel today.
New York City is looking at its biggest one-day snowfall total in over three years and that will impact flights into and out of the city's airports.
At the time of this writing, around 40% of flights taking off at JKF airport were delayed while at LaGuardia airport, most flights are on time but several have been canceled including a morning flight to Buffalo, New York.

Also travel in and around New York City will be slower than usual.

Most of the state will see some snow over the next couple of days, but the majority of the heavy snow will be downstate.
