After a couple of days of Spring-like weather across Western New York, we are gearing up for another shot of winter, but will we see snow back in the 716?
Chance Of Snow For Parts Of Western New York
We are not quite done with Winter just yet in Western New York. Another cold front is expected to move across the region on Wednesday. We will see mostly rain from this latest storm, with possible freezing rain and sleet in the Northern section of Western New York.
That rain is expected to change into snow late on Wednesday night and last overnight into Thursday morning.
The good news is that Thursday is shaping up to be a warmer than normal day with a high in the low 40s, so any of that snow from the early morning hours won't stick around.
Weekend Snow Expected For Western New York
The biggest chance of snow will be this weekend. Codl air from the Northwest will sweep across Western New York on Friday evening and will cool us down throuhg the whole weekend.
We are only going to see highs in the upers 20s and low 30s for the weekend across Western New York, which will allow that rain to turn to snow and maybe even stick around for a bit.
