Looking ahead to the month of May, you might want to keep some of your sweaters and long-sleeve shirts around. The Old Farmer's Almanac is calling for the weather in May to be cooler and wetter than normal.
On average, the daily temperatures are near 60 degrees for the month of May in Western New York. The long-range forecast from the Old Farmer's Almanac is calling for temperatures to be a degree or two cooler. Which means we will have more cooler days than normal.

May is also expected to have more precipitation than normal for Western New York. I didn't want to write rainfall, because we know that snow sometimes rolls in during the month of May, but hopefully it will be just rain for us.

The Wetter Than Normal Trend Continues Through The Summer In Western New York
