Severe Weather Gearing Up For Saturday In Western New York

After a pretty mild Friday, things will be much different for our Saturday when it comes to the weather here in Western New York. Some major storms are expected to impact parts of the 716, bringing rain, winds, and possible tornadoes.

Severe Weather Expected In Western New York

Looking ahead to the weekend weather, it looks like we will see plenty of rain across Western New York in the morning before things get even dicier in the afternoon.

Current weather forecasts are calling for possible severe weather for parts of Western New York, with thunderstorms being the main issue. There is a slight, very slight risk that a tornado could form. The humid weather, along with the windy condition lend themselves to possible tornadic activity.

The good news is that the severe weather we will have on Saturday will be well East of Western New York on Sunday. We are expected to see a mix of sun and clouds for much of the day with a high near 48.

So we will see some cooler weather our way as we wrap up the weekend. Monday is also expected to be nice with sunshine and a high near 61.
