That one stop is Sea Breeze amusement park in Rochester, New York. This small park is home to one of the oldest rollercoasters in the entire world, the Jackrabbit.

The Jackrabbit was first built in 1920 and has run every single year since then. It is the oldest continuous-running rollercoaster in the country and the 4th oldest rollercoaster in the county.

To keep the title of the oldest continuous rollercoaster n 2020 during the pandemic, several workers went into the park to run the coaster to keep the streak alive.

The Jackrabbit was built to work around the geography of the land around it. It has over 2000 feet of track and the first drop of the coaster is 75 feet. A tunnel was added to the track in 1928.

Seabreeze amusement park is currently closed for the season but it is expected to reopen in the middle of May with limited hours before opening full-time later that month.

Currently, the Jack Rabbit is the fourth oldest operating roller coaster in the world and the second oldest in the United States. The oldest roller coaster, Leap-The-Dips in Altoona, Pennsylvania, was closed from 1985 to 1999.
