The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory for parts of New York state for Friday morning.

WHAT DOES A FROST ADVISORY MEAN?
According to the National Weather Service, a frost advisory is issued when the minimum air temperature is forecast to be 33 to 36 degrees on a clear night with a wind speed of 5 miles per hour or less. These conditions are ripe for the formation of frost on the ground.

Most of the New York State will be under the Frost advisory for Friday Morning
WESTERN NEW YORK COUNTIES UNDER FROST ADVISORY
Oswego, Jefferson, Lewis, Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, Allegany, and Southern Erie countries are under a frost advisory on Friday from 1 am until 8 am
CENTRAL NEW YORK COUNTIES UNDER FROST ADVISORY
Northern Oneida, Steuben, Schuyler, Chemung, Tompkins, Madison, Southern Oneida, Cortland, Chenango, Otsego, Tioga, Broome, Delaware, Sullivan, Bradford, Susquehanna, and Northern Wayne counties are under a frost advisory on Friday from 1 am until 8 am.
NORTHERN NEW YORK COUNTIES UNDER FROST ADVISORY
Northern Berkshire, Northern Herkimer, Hamilton, Northern Saratoga, Northern Warren, Northern Washington, Schoharie, Eastern Rensselaer, Western Greene, Western Ulster, Northern Fulton, Southeast Warren, Southern Washington, Bennington, Western Windham counties are under a frost advisory on Friday from 1 am until 8 am.
