REPORT: Vontae Davis Former Bills Cornerback Dead At 35
There are reports today that former Buffalo Bills cornerback Vontae Davis has passed away at the age of 35.
Police are currently investigating after a man was found dead in a home in Davie County Florida in Southwest Ranches. The house is owned by Adaline Davis, who is the grandmother of former Buffalo Bills cornerback Vontae Davis.
Pat McAfee was a former teammate of Davis' and mentioned the story on his show today
Unfortunately, Buffalo Bills fans remember Davis from the way he left the team, and the game of football altogether. He became an unfortunate punchline after famously retiring from football at halftime of a game week 2 against the Chargers. He simply went into the lockerroom and then didn't come back out on the field.

Davis wasn't always a Buffalo Bill
Davis has former teammates sending out tributes to him on social media from all over. He started his career in Miami as a first-round draft pick in 2009 before being traded to the Indianapolis Colts. After being cut from the Colts, the Bills signed him for 1 year. Unfortunately his stay in Buffalo was very brief.
This is still a developing story. A reason for his passing has still not yet been shared. They did say that foul play was not expected.
