Today was locker cleanout day for the Buffalo Bills at One Bills Drive, as they are now a day removed from the AFC Divisional round loss to the Cincinnati Bengals at Highmark Stadium.

It was about as bad as the game could have gone. The Bills did not look prepared on offense or defense, as the Bengals did whatever they wanted on either side of the ball. Cincinnati had 30 first downs on offense, which is a horrendous stat line for the Bills defense.

The Bills now head into the off-season with many question marks for the roster and even the coaching staff.

The Bills players are meeting at One Bills Drive for meetings with the media and that includes starting left guard, Rodger Saffold.

The former Rams and Titans offensive lineman was signed a free agent last March and outside of a few games, had a pretty decent season for the Bills, although his age (34) is a concern with fans. He will be 35 next season.

Saffold said he wants to return next season and wants to do so in Buffalo. Saffold said "I'm not looking to break the bank." He added only what's fair for his age and talent. He said he will do anything to make it work in Buffalo.

I'm not entirely sure that the Bills would want Saffold back. The Bills offensive line needs an upgrade. That, along with wide receiver upgrades, are the two glaring needs on this team. After that, it's probably safety help with Jordan Poyer being an unrestricted free agent and Micah Hyde north of 30 coming off a neck injury.
