There is going to be a new business at the corner where Buffalo Proper was at the corner of Franklin and West Tupper in downtown Buffalo.

The Roaring 420s Lounge at 794 French Rd (the old bases loaded),  will soon move to 333 Franklin St, Buffalo, NY 14202. The lounge is a weed bar that is exclusive for its members.

Buffalo Proper had been there for about 5 years before they shut their doors due to financial issues, according to a report from WGRZ.

The building was sold after business mogul Mark Croce's estate had put it on the market after he passed away in a helicopter accident. The estate was asking $725,000 for the circa-1936, 5,076-square-foot building that Buffalo Proper was in.

Now, for the Roaring 420's Lounge era.

Apologies for the delay in announcement but The Roaring 420s Lounge at 794 French Rd will be closed until further notice for relocation.
We're moving to the beautiful 333 Franklin St in downtown #Buffalo, assisting in the restoration of a historic building as we move forward to bring our members an improved experience. EXTRA: There are more restaurants that are closing their doors and making their way for new ones in 2024. In Lancaster, the old 6 Friends Cabaret and Dutch Mill is turning into a new Italian Restaurant called Bruno's Bistro.

Another cool spot that is coming in 2024, if Riff City. It will open its doors in the former Tappo Pizza on Chandler Street. Riff will be ran by the team that opened the hit bar Jack Rabbit.
