With Thanksgiving just days away, people are making plans now to cook the perfect turkey. How would you describe it if you could only use two words?
There are a lot of people these days who think the turkey isn't even the main event at their Thanksgiving dinner. It's the sides that have become the stars and it's easy to see why. Stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and even cranberry sauce have found a way to be a bigger draw, depending on who you ask.
How in the world has turkey fallen so far from the ranks at Thanksgiving dinner? There are so many ways to prepare it these days. You can smoke it, deep fry it, or just go old school and throw it in the oven. Have we just tried to do too much with it?
Maybe it's the way that some people cook it. If it's dry or flavorless, it's almost hard to eat.
There are still some people out there who still rank it at the top of their Thanksgiving foods list. They know exactly what they like about it. They know exactly how they like it cooked and how they want it to taste.
