New Sports Bar Coming to Western New York

The Buffalo Bills are less than two weeks from the start of the 2023 regular season, which means that we're close to the start of the sports season in Buffalo.

The Buffalo Sabres are just over one month away from the start of their regular season as well, so we are gearing up for the start of the best time of the year for sports fans in Western New York.

There are plenty of places to enjoy the Bills and Sabres games around Buffalo, including other non-Buffalo sporting events such as Sunday Night Football, Stanley Cup coverage the the World Series.

Western New York is getting ready to welcome another sports bar to the equation.

Buffalo Business First is reporting that a new sports bar called 290 Slide Sports Bar & Grill is coming to Eggert Road in Tonawanda, which was the site of Exit 2 Bar & Grill until this year.

There's no set date yet but 290 Slide Sports Bar & Grill said on Facebook that they are looking at the week of September 6th, which means they could be opening by next week. That would be just in time for the start of the Bills regular season and plenty of time until the start of the Sabres season.

This is the Colvin-Eggert plaza in Tonawanda, which is right off the I-290. It's got plenty of parking and a popular area for traffic.

After all the great restaurants who have unfortunately closed in recent years, it's great to see new ones opening and serving Western New York.
