More Great News for the Buffalo Bills Today Against Miami
Today is the day.
The Buffalo Bills will play the Miami Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium tonight. It closes out the NFL regular season schedule and will determine who wins the AFC East.
It's pretty simple after last night's results.
If the Bills win, they will be the number 2 seed in the AFC. They will host either the Houston Texans or Pittsburgh Steelers. If the Jacksonville Jaguars lose today vs. the Tennessee Titans, the Bills will be hosting the Steelers. If the Jaguars win, the Bills host the Houston Texans.
If the Bills lose and the Jaguars lose, they will be back in Miami vs. the Dolphins.
If the Bills lose and Jaguars win, the Bills are eliminated.
Buffalo's injury report is about as clean as you can get, outside of the season-ending injuries to Matt Milano and Tre White. Everyone else will be ready to go tonight.
As for Miami, their injury report is long and there's more bad news for Dolphins fans.
Tom Pelissero of The NFL Network is reporting that both running back Raheem Mostert and wide receiver Jaylen Waddle are not expected to play tonight. They are both questionable and despite being long shots to play earlier this week, there was some optimism they could tough it out.
Miami also won't have:
- Center Connor Williams
- Edge rusher Jaelan Phillips
- Edge rusher Bradley Chubb
- Cornerback Xavien Howard
Safety Jevon Holland is questionable with a knee injury that's bugged him the last several weeks.
The Bills have to take advantage of these injuries but also be mindful of both Tyreek Hill and De'Von Achane, who will be leaned on heavy by Miami.
Kickoff is 8:20 pm.
