Gabe Davis Is Coming Back To The Buffalo Bills
Another former player is coming back to play with the Buffalo Bills.
It's starting to feel like deja vu all over again. There seems to be a pattern forming with the Buffalo Bills this year. Last year, the Bills were playing on what felt like a skeleton crew at the beginning of the year after cap issues forced them to cut a bunch of players and others ended up leaving in free agency.
This year, many of them are coming back.
Gabe Davis is signing with the Buffalo Bills
Brandon Beane seemed as upset as many fans the day that he had to cut a bunch of players from the roster and claimed that he'd like to keep them. This year, it appears he's putting his money where his mouth is by bringing many of them back.
Today, there are reports that former Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis will be signing with the Bills again.
Davis ended up leaving Buffalo for Jacksonville in free agency for a two-year deal with the Jags, but ended up being cut after some injuries kept him off the field. He's still dealing with a torn meniscus, which is why he will be joining the Bills on the practice squad for now, with hopes of making the 53-man roster once he's healthy again.
Davis will join former Bills safety Jordan Poyer, who was cut before the 2024-2025 season, and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips (known as "Big Phil" to most of his teammates) as players who are back with the Bills this season.
