Even if you have never read the Bible, you probably have heard about the 10 Commandments. 

The Commandments have always been used as a guide by religious people to help them lead a life of love, respecting thy neighbor, and honoring their families. 

But what if Buffalo had some commandments of our own?

What are the 10 Commandments?

The 10 Commandments, in the Biblical text, are divine rules or principles relating to ethics and worship that play a fundamental role in Judaism and Christianity. 

To give you an example of what those might be, here are a few of those commandments you will find in the Bible:

• “Honor thy father and thy mother.” 
• “Thou shalt not commit adultery.” 
• “Thou shalt not steal.”

1. Thou shalt not eat ranch. 

2. Thou shall say “Go Bills” when you see anyone wearing bills apparel outside of WNY.

3. Thou shalt us “the” in front of route names. THE 33. THE 90.

4. Thou shall NEVER refer to them as “Buffalo Wings”

5. Thou shalt eat horseradish with their roast beef sandwiches.

6. Honor thy Bills and thy Sabres.

7. Thou shalt never take the names Diggs or Allen in vain.

8. Thou shall hype your hometown to any and all, whether they ask for it or not.

9. Thou shalt all commune in the produce section of Wegman's every Saturday morning.

10. Thou shalt wear Bills merch on Fridays at work and school.

I’m sure there are a few other unspoken rules we all follow, but these are pretty good!
