Several reports are coming in about a car fire affecting your morning commute.

If you are traveling on the 400 Thursday morning, the northbound lane in between Transit Rd and Union Rd is starting to experience a massive slowdown for your morning commute in Western New York.

The vehicle appears to be a white work pick-up truck that has caught on fire. According to a recent report from a bystander, the driver of the vehicle appears to be ok and is located safely outside of the vehicle on fir.e

As of now, there are no emergency vehicles on the scene, but traffic should begin to slow once they do arrive to the vehicle.

If you can avoid the area on the 400 where the fire is present, you should try to take an alternative route this morning.

We’ll give you more updates as they become available to us.
