A Tornado Once Ripped Through the Erie County Fairgrounds
A tornado had ripped through and destroyed the Erie County Fairgrounds.
Looking back at the disaster is a reminder that tornados and funnels do, in fact, touch down here in Western New York. Although, they do not happen often, they certainly are memorable events for people in the Buffalo area.
The Erie County Fairgrounds adjacent Buffalo Raceway were a disaster. Look at all the shelters flipped over and benches thrown around.
At the time Andrew Cuomo was in office and he came to help access the damage with Erie County Fairgrounds officials.
