The areas of the southern tier, close to the Pennsylvania line, will get a few inches this week. A winter weather advisory is about to be going into effect for the following towns and village and surrounding areas.

There is a very specific snow belt that is going to be falling and it starts in Western New York and heads to the mountain areas of New York State. As of right now, the advisory is set for tomorrow and between 4 and 6 inches are expected to fall. After this snow fall, no major snow fall is expected for a few days. You can expect the next major snow fall, where you have to shovel to happen between Saturday and Sunday this weekend.
