However, once upon a time, Buffalo was among the country's biggest and most successful cities. In the 1800's and into the early 1900's, Buffalo was known as a hub for business and innovation. That changed after WWII and the market is now just inside the top 60.

But don't let that fool you; there are plenty of amazing buildings in Buffalo that offer history. Some of them are even for sale now and then, with the latest being up for sale as recently as a few days ago.

This mansion on Pine Ridge in Buffalo (near Cheektowaga) is for sale at just under one million dollars.

It features an incredible 7,100-square-feet of space. It has seven bedrooms and six bathrooms.

This building was built in 1827. That's right, it's nearly 200 years old. Judging by the inside, this mansion has hosted events like weddings. The space is gigantic and it was originally owned by the famous George Urban, who went on to have a street in Depew named after him (George Urban Boulevard).

The room that you have to see is the gigantic indoor pool room, with its own hot tub and even a sauna. The pool room is huge and big enough to hold events and throw parties.
