10 Items Goodwill Stores In Buffalo Won’t Accept
If you're doing your 'spring cleaning' a little early and have been boxing up stuff to donate to a Goodwill store here in Western New York, you should know there are items they won't accept. You might think that Goodwill accepts anything, but that's just not true.
I grew up shopping in second-hand stores and I can tell you I've seen some strange and gross things on shelves. Sometimes I wonder what is going through a person's mind when they decided to donate certain items. But I also know that one "man's" trash is another man's treasure. With that said, just know that there are some limits to what Goodwill stores here in WNY will accept as donations.
As you're uncluttering, you might be tempted to just throw everything in some boxes and drop them off at a Goodwill donation location. But don't. It's inconsiderate to take items to Goodwill stores in the Buffalo area that they can't use.
