It might be hard to believe, but construction of the new Highmark Stadium is moving along quite nicely. It was just a few months ago when we took a look inside the stadium to see the superstructure was nearly complete as a crane tower high above Orchard Park, New York.

The 1.35 million square foot stadium complex, which sits on more than 240 acres, is coming in at a price tag of well over $1 billion, but by all accounts, it's going to be worth it as Buffalo will soon have one of the most impressive and technological advanced stadium in the NFL. In addition to a heated smart roof that will sense how much snow has built up and melt it, the stadium will feature all sorts of technological upgrades like expanded 5G cell coverage.

The stadium, which is set to open for the summer of 2026, just in time for the Bills to start the NFL Season, means the team has only one more year left in the current stadium. Buffalonians worldwide are excited for that time to come, but in the meantime, we have plenty of new images and renderings to look at while construction workers are hard at work during this brutal Buffalo winter.

This week, officials from the Bills released these images and renderings of the stadium's progress, which are quite impressive.

Looking at the stadium from Abbott Road, you can get a good idea of what things look like, but these renderings really put it in perspective for you. From the lower bowl and the concourse, the stadium looks amazing.

We'll keep an eye on things for you as the stadium inches closer to completion.

Go Bills.
