The warm weather this week -- alongside announcements that popular Western New York summer festivals are a go for 2021 -- have folks looking to fill long-empty calendars.

Now you can add renting a "floatmingo" to your summer to-do list.

Rowboats will return to Hoyt Lake in Delaware Park on May 1.

You can already reserve the boats by clicking here.

The wooden rowboats can be rented for 30-60 minutes for $10-15.

The pink flamingo paddle boats are available in two sizes; both the 2-passenger flamingo and the 4-passenger boats can be reserved for 30-60 minutes for $15-25.

Buffalo Maritime Charter lists the rentals as appropriate for all ages.

The "floatmingos" made their debut last year and remain popular for visitors.

Operators call the paddle boats a "relaxing, child-friendly adventure," but remind boaters they can't go under the 198 bridge to Mirror Lake, because of the boat's height.

Buffalo Maritime Charters recommends bringing sunglasses and sunscreen. No experience is necessary, and while it is an all-ages attraction, at least one person in the party must be over 18 years-old.

According to the reservation page, lifejackets are provided and required. Your boat is powered by your own crew, so bring folks ready to paddle.

No alcohol is permitted and rentals are subject to wind and weather conditions.
