The New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance will issue the benefits to help families in need due to the coronavirus pandemic. Erie County Department of Social Services says that families with eligible children will get the benefits automatically, according to WIVB. The maximum benefit per child will cap at $420. The benefits will be issued three waves, you can find out more about each here.
